Worried about all the hustle and bustle of Christmas? Not sure what to buy your children that doesn’t cost a small fortune, yet inspires play? How to tell your relatives that you don’t want battery-operated, chip implanted plastic toys? Come to a talk by Barbara Bedingfield on Thursday, December 1st for a 6:00 pm potluck and talk to follow. Barbara will share information from the NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) that she gained from the founder of the “Campaign for Commercial-Free Childhood,” as well as how to celebrate the days leading up to Christmas in a simple, yet beautiful and meaningful way. Five service hours credit will be given for attendance. Call the office early if you require child care.
