The Suncoast Waldorf School, now 15 years old, is located on its own Live Oak shaded property in Palm Harbor, Florida. The school, noted for its warm hospitality and generosity of spirit, has welcomed families from all parts of the world and from all economic sectors. Our strong and cohesive faculty is dedicated to supportive collegial work and continued professional development. Our committed and engaged parent body provides the needed support for festivals, field trips and upkeep of the property.
Palm Harbor, a cozy, comfortable town on Florida’s gulf coast, is part of the greater Tampa Bay metropolitan area. Offering an established symphony, a world class international airport, museums, theaters and art galleries as well as wonderful restaurants and shopping venues. The Tampa Bay Area provides all the conveniences of big city living and at the same time quiet peaceful rivers for canoeing, national forests for camping and hiking, and lush farm lands and pastures are never far away.
Our ideal candidates will be an experienced Waldorf trained teachers who exhibit a warm, caring, confident classroom presence, can effectively present the Waldorf curriculum and communicate well with parents. Prior experience is highly valued.
